Damon Lux hit a two-run homer in the third inning to give Duke (39-22) the early lead, but Virginia (48-13) scored three times in the sixth to take it back in Friday's game. The Blue Devils ultimately won on a pair of RBIs from Tyler Albright and Luke Storm in the eighth inning, and freshman pitcher James Tallon came in to break Duke's single-season saves record (12) with a scoreless ninth.
